Only 31 days and one month later, the 2012 International Smile Month Campaign has come to a close. As always it’s only intention is to increase the smileage in the world, find face value for ourselves and learn some new things about ourselves and our surroundings. Along the way what seems so simple becomes a thing of value.
What ever you have done to increase the smileage in the world in the past 31 days…if you were intentional, you are a champ. You didn’t have to join us, just have an awareness and join the cause. Every day on our laughter call…which by this date has been for over 1,600 days and spread joy across continents… we have laughed and issued forth a new idea to smile with, explore and have fun with for the day. If you did…jolly good for you, hope you had a worthwhile experience and let yourself get into it. If not…we will do it again next year in the month of International Smiles….August!
For me, it was the greatest adventure my face ever had…once again!
A delight,

We have reached the last day of the International Smile Month campaign and the first day of the rest of your life. Today is the 31st adventure of the daily smile and may what tomorrow brings give you another smile. It is up to you everyday!
I wish you a pile of smiles today to love and lay back into. May you absorb the energy and the lightness that they convey. On this victory day of smiling everyday it has been a light and expansive journey rather than the arduous and treacherous experiences of other adventures. This was one of levity that could not help but bring lightness to your soul by way of your lip line.
May you add up all the smiles that you receive today in the recycling of what you give away and when this day is said and done, may you also enjoy the pile of smiles as reflection for how you used this day. Each of us is give 86,400 seconds every day and how we use them is always up to us. If today you have a pile of smiles by the end, you will know you used them with meaning and purpose and your intention was clear.
That is how I feel at the end of this journey 2,678,400 seconds later and 31 beautiful reflections in the trail behind me. While it is unknown how many smiles surround me, it is clear that this one smile has grown and been a part of effective change in the world.
The change it makes for me is one of satisfaction. Just knowing I set an intention, I kept my agreement with it and I opened up new channels to explore it more. My smile will go on as it is a natural part of me, the campaign will end though the effect will continue.
Next year when we have chance to cheer in 334 days from now, we will do it all again and it will have a whole new meaning and purpose because like the smile, we will have evolved.
For today, I will smile a pile, receive a pile and pile into the smile as if a fluffy opportunity awaits. Today is what counts and I choose to go into it ear to ear and cheer to cheer!
Knowing and glowing,

Tis the next to the last day of the end of the International Smile Month. Let this month begin a trend for you and on this 30th day may you find the words to enjoy the Logophile Smile. As a logophile loves words may a participant in our challenge love smiles!
I am not sure of the word we would come up for that except maybe a Smileophile. Would you be one? I notice that in 30 days we can get a good look at a number of things when we take the chance to make an investment in doing so. Change is the thing that can happen rather quickly, though it is keeping the change changed that requires intention. Practice stems from that intention and it is the daily action that emerges a healthy look at the “why” and “how” of what we do and allows us with a conscious awareness to make significant choices that keep what we want (intention) as the main idea.
How is that for a bunch of words? Did they help to find meaning? Does finding meaning and purpose make you smile? I like to also think that the smile is a source of our “enlightenupment” .
If smiling is not a regular activity for you… that you have kept smiling and stayed with it til the end will give you some words to marvel. If you are a regular smiler, then keeping continuity with our month quite possibly has allowed you to see more, be more and do more…. and more is a word of great extension and possibility.
Somewhere along the line if you are noticing a change in what is normal for you and possibly into a word that fits more lightly like natural and you have stayed with the concept every day, it feels good.
Take today and describe that good in words that flow with meaning and purpose so that you can begin to see the evidence that you feel and know. There are many words to describe, smile into all of them and use your smile as your barometer of feeling. If what you say brings a light comfort to your face in the smile, then you might be on the right track and if the word doesn’t make your face get up and dance, then you know where you are not aligned with its purpose or intention.
So enjoy your smiling barometer and your choices in words. May they bring you great awareness and more evidence for what you created all with the two interchangeable lines that came pre packaged in your delivery.
In all the word and otherwords…love your smile,

Bring on your charm today with the irresistible attraction with the Smile of Beguile. On this 29th day of the International Smile Month, deceive misery, anxiety, frustration and woe and be all in for the higher elevation you leave yourself open to.
To beguile is to enchant or distract with whiles. If in this whole day you have the opportunity to distract others with your smile and save them from a day of less than productive or effective thoughts, feelings or actions, then you will know how to beguile with your smile.
If today you set out to beguile another into a positive mood instead of a nefarious one, then you have changed destiny and made a more uplifitng imprint on the future. We never know who we affect as the effect can affect many indirectly. Think about the person that suddenly smiles from your offering and rethinks an appointment and course corrects. All the people that are affected from this correction now will have a different slant on how and who they will affect. It is the ripple effect of change in the world and one good mood can do it, one smile can alter it and one effect can affect.
So today if that doesn’t give you a bigger reason to beguile with something so worthwhile as a smile, then simply do it for yourself and you will notice that I have beguiled you with this opportunity and what you do with it, well… it will affect others.
Choose consciously.
Beguiling,

If you have been playing along with us all during the International Smile Month you will be aware that the smiles that have been created all look like they rhyme with the world smile and in truth it is only when you add an accent that all will rhyme. The case in point is today’s smile which may make some think, it is the Erectile Smile.
With a little drawing out and pulling up you can make this work out too. After all the extension is what makes the Erectile Smile work now doesn’t it? When things are erectile they are standing straight up extended out to hold the structure of what they are made of longer, fuller and expanded to a full capacity.
Wouldn’t you want to have your smile do all that? After all what’s the point of putting something on unless you put it all on and use it fully. Take a lessen from the erectile in life, it uses all it has and doesn’t apologize.
Today stand up for the smile, wear it broad and proud from end to end. Use it up all over your face and when you are done you will feel the satisfaction of the day in your muscles and attitude at having performed to the best with the most significant outcome.
May you put the fun in your erectile function today.
Stand up and smile,

Enjoying the last week of the International Smile Month campaign and the glory of August, the Reptile Smile becomes today’s adventure in curiosity and quest. If you have ever noticed the smile of a reptile be it frog, snake or the larger lizards, the longness of their lips makes it look like they have one of the most gigantic smiles spreading from one side of their face all the way to the other.
All slime aside, they do represent an opportunity for us to mimic the largeness of a smile; to make it wide and toothy and give it our own sense of style. On the outside it may seem like a smile and truly with the way they look at us with an eye one one side of the head or the other, it makes you wonder what it is that they might have going on inside. Outside of the predator-prey instinctual motions, what else is going on inside?
Since the smile is our focus, the reptile can also remind us of the reptilian nature we all have in the most basic function at the core of our brain. It is where our instinctual behaviors come from such as our aggression, dominance, territorial and our ritualized patterns come from. If we make the smile a more dominant feature that stands out and is important and if we give it territory on the face for a primal base expression and if we make it a ritual then we will be thinking reptilian.
In this manner the smile of the reptile has quantifiable opportunities to make our face a place for happy space. If we are going to give way to the real estate on our face to emotion, then why not put out the emotion that makes a more significant difference to ourselves and to others by its very display?
Give rise to the smile of the reptile and consider it a most basic accouterment to whatever you wear today. If your long tongue happens to slip out from the cheek, then imagine in a more juvenile reptile smile of style and be versatile in what you make of the day.
Versatility, Agility and Smileability,

Celebrate the Chamomile Smile today in our 26th day of International Smile Month. Our intention is to explore and create adventure with your smile all month long. This year we added some weekly focus to add a little more for those who like more, and in this week it is all about recycling and discovery about not only what you put out comes back to you, but how much and where it goes and comes from.
You’ve been busy with lots of exploration and action, today relax into your smile and enjoy the chamomile. Create a cup of tea…hilarity if you must, and sip the leaves that have fallen on your path of comprehension. Chamomile is a relaxing tea of comfort and if you take this day in as such, perhaps you will find what contents you in your smile.
As we prepare for the end of this smiling campaign, begin a happy recollection of what it is indeed that has changed your face value. Know where you have made the difference all along and what you allow to affect you positively. Know what you effect and how something so simple as a smile can melt tension and gain alliance. Governments talk world power and if they might embrace and cultivate what we already have, they may find our national treasures to be self regulating wonderfully.
Since our governments don’t see the value of this simplicity, it is up to each and everyone of use to create our own investigations and relaxations into the smile and when we do, we become the power that others covet and act with the compassion and awareness that is needed to accomplish anything. Lo, the power of your smile!
With all that talk of power comes this burst of energy and responsibility and in that comes time for reflection, pondurance and the inner guidance that a cup of chamomile might make for good company. Today no matter how busy or tasked, embrace the quiet moments as a surge of replenishment and in those moments smile in the knowledge that you created and used them well.
I shall smile with my feet up, how will you?
Refreshing the lips,
The Affable Laughable Lynda
